About
Rose Music Hall’s story starts back in 1999 when then Blue Note owner Richard King expanded his business and purchased the venue formerly known as Mojos, located just a few blocks from the historic theater-turned-music-venue. The calendar is full of great local and national talent, alternative-programming events, and a jam-packed park season that includes happy hours, music festivals, community events, weddings, and so much more. A few of the noteworthy bands who have graced the stage at Rose Music Hall & Rose Park include The Pixies, R.E.M, Arcade Fire, Chance The Rapper, Spoon, Jack Harlow, Ben Kweller, Tapes ‘n Tapes, Portugal. The Man, Whiskey Myers, The Breeders, and Bright Eyes, and countless more.

About
In 1980, two great friends and music lovers decided to buy a space on the north side of Columbia, MO and turn it into a music venue. What started with local and regional bands quickly turned into now-legendary bands taking the stage (The Pixies, The Replacements, R.E.M. and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, just to name a few). A decade later, the club was moved to the historic theater downtown that we know and love today as The Blue Note. Beyond live music, The Blue Note also features stand-up comedy, dance parties, weddings, community events, and even “Brew n’ View” movies from time to time. Who knows, we may even host an occasional burlesque show now and then to liven things up!
